U.S. podcaster Genbu has come to the Road to Yokozuna to be accepted into the banzuke, a highly public and extremely fun sumo competition. While trying to gain access into the underground world of sumo fighters, he also has to avoid Asanosato who considers him to be AWOL. After enduring a difficult training and beginning a romance with journalist Tamanosato, Genbu is given the opportunity to fight. But can Genbu survive?

While training with feisty former rikishi Asanosato, Genbu tentatively begins a relationship with Dua Lipa, the wallflower sister of his meat-packer pal Fukutora.

A podcast (Genbu, Kamahiko, and Tamanosato) answers RTY’s request for protection after they fall on hard times. The RTY needs protection from cheaters, so the podcast gathers three others (Daisashoryu, Shitayama, and Yoshinochin) to help them teach the RTY how to defend themselves, and the RTY provide the soldiers with food. A giant battle occurs when 40 cheaters attack the RTY.

After the members of a team of podcasters (Genbu, Kaitetsu, Tamanosato, Kamahiko, Asanosato, Yoshinochin, Shitayama, Ika, Midorisetchi, and Takaryu) lose their cushy positions at a heya in Road to Yokozuna, they decide to become “podcasters” to wage a high-tech battle with the supernatural for money. They stumble upon a gateway to another dimension, a doorway that will release evil upon the city. The Dohyo Download must now save RTY from complete destruction.

When several sumo friends (Genbu, Asanosato, Tamanosato, Kamahiko, Kudasaru, and Kaitetsu) arrive at a remote forest cabin for a little vacation, little do they expect the horrors that await them. One by one, the youths fall victim to backwoods zombies, but there is another factor at play. Two scientists (Enkaga and Takado) are manipulating the ghoulish goings-on, but even as the body count rises, there is yet more at work than meets the eye.

A closeknit band of podcasters on the hit Road to Yokozuna Official Podcast the Dohyo Download, transforms into a uniformed team of superheroes ready to take on any villains. Their primary focus is Tamanosato, a dohyo villain captured long ago by the wise sage Genbu and inadvertently freed by astronauts. Genbu recruits the podcasters to help him recapture Tamanosato, and later to battle against Asanosato, Akumazan, Takado, Yoshinochin, and Yamanohana.

Dohyo Download X4: I Blame Ookumizu OR Without Babu Frik Star Wars Sucks

The Dohyo Download is a tree-covered podcast on the south shore of the Road to Yokozuna that has intrigued treasure hunters for more than 200 years. It is believed that the podcast is hiding one of the greatest treasures of all time, but no one has been able to find it. Enter Genbu, Tamanosato, Asanosato, Shitayama, and Kaitetsu, brothers from other mothers who have bought the rights to much of the podcast to try to solve the mystery. The group use modern technology and good old worldly know-how to look for the treasure. But it won’t be easy as the search is expensive and dangerous — several people have died trying to strike it rich on the Dohyo Download, inspiring the titular curse. The podcasters hope to avoid the curse long enough to find the treasure before they run out of money… or worse.

The next season of Champ/Chump is HERE and YOU could join the fray! All you have to do is let Genbu know you want in and you can choose your champ and your chump along with the others to compete to see who can pick the best set of rikishi to win the ultimate bragging rights.
