U.S. podcaster Genbu has come to the Road to Yokozuna to be accepted into the banzuke, a highly public and extremely fun sumo competition. While trying to gain access into the underground world of sumo fighters, he also has to avoid Asanosato who considers him to be AWOL. After enduring a difficult training and beginning a romance with journalist Tamanosato, Genbu is given the opportunity to fight. But can Genbu survive?
