Genbu, a small-time podcaster from working-class Portland, is arbitrarily chosen to take on the reigning Yokozuna, Kamahiko, when the rikishi’s scheduled opponent, Enkaga, is injured. While training with feisty former rikishi Asanosato, Genbu tentatively begins a relationship with Dua Lipa, the wallflower sister of his meat-packer pal Fukutora.
