Genbu (DJ), Tamanosato, Kaitetsu, Kamahiko, Asabariki, and Takado gathered around the New Year’s Dohyo fire to roast some gigantic marshmallows and spin tales of Terunofuji’s knees as well as his chances this 2024, they determine how many Yokozuna there will be at the end of 2024, discuss whether Takakeisho will be a Yokozuna, whether Kotonowaka will be an Ozeki, whether Daiesho will be an Ozeki as well as whether his style includes belt stuff, they discuss their stories of the snow season, dive into a lengthy Juryo talk including who will win the Yusho for Juryo, there is a debate on how much weight the dohyo can actually hold (we figure out it is A LOT), who has and hasn’t signed up for the RTY basho (spoiler alert, you might want to go sign up now), how is our degeiko doing this time, Dohyo-iri talk, and Kakuryu being an oyakata now.
